The Double Edged Sword of Internet Marketing

What I really like about Internet marketing is that there are so MANY ways to make money online.

On the other hand, what makes Internet marketing so difficult is that there are so MANY ways to make money online. This is the double edged sword of online marketing. This fact is what causes so many beginners to become lost and frustrated.

In fact, beginners are beating down the scammers' doors begging to exchange money for instant riches which some sales pages promise. It really is sad.

If things were that easy, everyone would be on the beach with their laptops raking in the dough. But of course we all know Internet marketing doesn’t work like that.

This aspect of Internet marketing is all bad news for the pure right brained people who need a detailed plan to follow.

The good news is that we all have a left brain with which we can tap into our creative sides! Remember, the best part is that NOT having a set of rules to follow is quite liberating...for those who embrace that idea anyway.

Sure, there are basic concepts and principles we all must learn and follow regardless of the niche we are in. Building that basic foundation is where I focus my clients. Without those fundamentals in place, it's all simply an exercise in frustration.

However, if you do not appreciate the dynamic aspect of Internet marketing you will not go very far with it.

Success only comes when you create an online marketing plan built around your very own unique talents, interests, and creativity. (I suggest reading that last sentence again.)

Although it is impossible to follow another marketer’s exact footsteps to success, I think it does help to understand there are many paths you can take.
