I’ve been doing some minor-league adsense stuff for the past three months and doing a lot of reading about all aspects of IM, and it seems there’s another guru lurking right around every corner. But of all of the millions of offers out there, yours is the only one that I’ve even seriously considered purchasing. You seem like a profoundly straight-up guy and everything of yours I’ve seen or read has been down-to-earth and fantastically instructive. I’m really looking forward to learning from your course. John Hi Steve, I just wanted to comment on the 2 keyword tools that I asked you about a couple of days ago. As I mentioned previously, I had purchased both “Keyword Elite” and “AdWords Analyzer” for some projects I had been working on earlier. Both of these tools cost around $200 each, and for that sort of price you’d expect decent results. Well, after using the AdWords testing method you describe in your course, then comparing the results to both of the keyword tools, I was surprised at the disparity in the results. Both of the keyword tools gave inaccurate counts of result sets returned for a given keyword/phrase on Google, while checking for exact matches. Most of the other results returned were quite accurate, but the number of results returned for a given search term is quite critical to the success of your methodology, if I understand it correctly. Were I relying only on the keyword tools, I would have missed a large number of potential marketing areas. Why I had never thought of this method myself is a mystery to me! I’ve been using AdWords for several years, but never really thought of it as a testing bed. Thanks for making your AdSense Connection course available at such a reasonable price. Emanuel Hey everybody Just thought I’d share my experience with adsense connection with you… I recently purchased adsense connection and am getting good results… Were all looking for “certainty ” in the internet marketing world and Steve’s testing method is spot on for getting the best, most current data regarding actual searches on any keyword you wish to target and write content for. His method is not based on getting old database info compiled from who knows where.it’s real time information. I was amazed at the discrepancy between what the keyword tools returned vs the actual real time/ real world testing method used in adsense connection. I’ve been doing this for a while and have some sites doing ok and others sort of “flops”. So anyway .I built 2 sites in the last 45 days exclusively using this method - and now both are ranked on google page 1 for their keywords just this week, and are receiving traffic and adsense clicks. Each site is jumping between position 2 and 6, probably because indexing is slightly different for the many google servers. I just put the site up about a month ago. When I started, it was at page # 7, near the bottom. I’ve gone from $0.0 per day to somewhere between $0.15 to about $1.00 per day combined from about 5 sites. Nothing to write home about, but at least I now know that I’m on the right track. The really amazing news is that one of my sites is now #1 for its keyword phrase “livestock shearing.” So I’ll be putting some attention into that site. I’ve done 1 ezine article for it. I want to write some sort of e-book, and I want to sell some banner ads for it. This is off-season for shearing right now. Shearing is a Spring event. So this summer I want to create some sort of freebie download or ebook for it. I completely overhauled my alpaca web site. My traffic has increased from about 30 visitors a day to about 100. Still not making any money from adsense over there, but I’m working of adding some affiliate links to specific articles in the library. I’m just finishing up my goat dairy web site. One bug with my newsletter subscribe to fix. I was eligible for the educational Dreamweaver software, which saved me a bundle. It’s really head and shoulders above the HTML editor that I was using. I’m sloooowly acquiring some css savvy — which I’ve resisted for years. But dreamweaver makes learning css not quite so formidable. Anyway thanks for all your good advice.
