Create a LOT of Content Easily I've been using a really cool service for the past couple of months. CopyTalk does personal transcription. Their unique twist is that you call them on your phone, leave a recording; they transcribe it, and then e-mail the results to you within a few hours. I often use it to write new articles. For example, I am using it right now to write this blog post. The easiest way to use it for this purpose is to first create bullet points before you make the recording. Make bullets over the high points you want to cover and it's much easier to stay focused while you're making the recording. You have four minutes to create the recording. I have found that four minutes is long enough to usually create an article of 500 to 800 words in length. That's about right for creating content for web pages or for article directories. I also use this service to re-write articles. With these re-written articles, I can then submit them as original content to other article directories. The way I do this is simply to have the original article open on my computer screen. I simply scan each paragraph and then reword it into the phone. I try to do this step shortly after I write the original article so the article is fresh in my mind. This takes a little bit of practice, but it becomes much easier the more you do it. Another time I use CopyTalk is while I'm on the road. Often times, I have ideas that I want to write down while I'm driving. Of course, that's not practical at the time. All I do is call CopyTalk, make the recording, and when I get back home I have the e-mailed transcription there and waiting for me. You can also have these transcriptions mailed to a third party in addition to yourself. The third party might be a virtual assistant who takes the copy and then uses it in ways that you specify. I first signed up for the free trial (one week) they offer. After using it for a week, I knew I had to have it! Try it out for yourself. At the very least you can get a lot of articles written in the coming week. CopyTalk has unlimited use; you can request as many transcriptions per day as you wish! Here’s the free trial for CopyTalk If you have questions about the service, post your comments below. |
