I help out with the help desk of a large affiliate network several hours per week. Although I like helping people, it is rather depressing to see so many people there who are trying to make a quick buck while not having the slightest idea what affiliate marketing is all about.

It is sad; I’d say at least 90% of the people I try to help there will never make a dime. Most will lose money as they attempt AdWords and pay for worthless packages of “email blasts” and such. Even sadder is the fact that they are totally oblivious to how futile their efforts are.

What a shame to have all that effort and work they are doing simply wasted.

All I can do is keep doing what I do and help as many of you as possible to get on the right track so you are not simply spinning your wheels. I’ve said it before and I will say it again; if you are attempting affiliate marketing without a website filled with great and valuable content, your days as an affiliate marketer are numbered.

How long will you keep “beating a dead horse” as they say? I hope you are not one of those who are trying to make a quick buck by slapping your affiliate links all over the Internet. My biggest fear is that you will tire of that and simply quit all of this before you have given yourself a chance with real methods which actually work.

Before you get too frustrated with the “quick buck” methods, stop what you are doing and consider this: The days of making it as an affiliate marketer without a website are over. Every single affiliate marketer out there making the BIG BUCKS has a great website. Don’t believe you can prove this fact wrong!

Yes, it takes work. However, the rewards are awesome! You don’t ever get something for nothing in this world. Why so many think affiliate marketing is the exception is beyond me.

Stop wasting your time with dead-ends which won’t earn you a dime and start working on a quality niche website. It’s not that difficult to rank well on the first page of Google for very niche areas. THAT is the way to succeed with affiliate marketing!
