In 2003 I Was Tired of the Rat Race and Living Paycheck to Paycheck!
Sure, my wife and I had pretty good jobs which paid the bills, but I KNEW I didn’t want to continue down that stressful, paycheck-to-paycheck road. And I SURE didn’t want to do it until time to retire at age 65!
So I did something about it…just the same as you are right now.
I was intrigued with the idea of making money online. However in a short amount of time, it became painfully obvious that I didn’t have a clue about online marketing. I was taken in by every scam that promised riches; I wasted countless hours and dollars on worthless “shortcuts.”
Finally (and fortunately) I backed up and took a very honest look in the mirror. I realized in that instant that there were people doing very well online and they were not lucky nor did they possess above average IQ. That realization was my turning point!
I knuckled down and studied… and worked my rear off!
Come heck or high water, I was going to learn how to succeed online!
I lived, slept and breathed Internet marketing in that coming year. (Lucky for me my wife was on board with the idea...thanks Kay!) I gave a PhD effort to the process. I wanted out of my job ASAP! …and to make a long story short: Within in a year, our first real website, CactusCanyon.com was making good sales. In fact, the sales were so good that by the next year my wife quit her job in order to stay home and help run the business. And then in another 18 months I quit my job too…yeeeaaah!!
Yes… I’m telling you this to brag a little bit because I’m real proud of what we have accomplished!
My wife and I are just regular people out here in western Oklahoma.
